St. Patrick´s day
 
Is celebrated in many parts of the world, especially by Irish communities and organizations.  Is a cultural and religious celebration, celebrated on 17 March
Many people wear an item of green clothing on the day. Parties featuring Irish food and drinks that are dyed in green food color are part of this celebration.
The day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. Christians also attend church services, and the Lenten restrictions on eating and drinking alcohol are lifted for the day.
St Patrick’s Day is also a festive occasion in some parts of the world where it is not a public holiday but it is also celebrated especially in Britain, Canada, the United States, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand.
The colour associated with Saint Patrick was blue. Over the years the colour  change  green because Irish soldiers wore full green uniforms on 17 March in hopes of catching public attention.
The symbol is the shamrock is the leaf of the clover plant and a symbol of the Holy Trinity.
Festivities that included concerts, outdoor theatre performances, and fireworks.
